This listing should serve as a warning to all against buying rare items without a certificate of authenticity. This is such a good fake that I almost didn't bother to get it certified, but needless to say, I'm glad I did. According to "The Expert's Book" by Paul W. Schmid, (page 41): "This coil is OFTEN faked" (emphasis his). Genuine examples of this MNH joint line pair catalog for $3500. I caution all to avoid buying any #386 without a certificate from a recognized expert (APS, PF, PSE, Weiss). This item will make an excellent addition to any philatelic reference collection or a handsome space-filler. Comes as shown in photos including 2003 PSE certificate 102775.Seller Information
