Item Description

SCV $2.50 (2020). Two 37-cent Hawaiian Missionary stamps (2-cent & 5-cent) on cover with First Day Cancellation (FDC). The cover is crisp & very clean and has sharp corners. The cover was cancelled in "NEW YORK NY 10199" and has a cancellation date of "OCT 24 2002". The stamp has a black ink cancellation mark stating "FIRST DAY OF ISSUE" between two pairs of two horizontal, parallel black lines. Postal Commemorative Society (PCS) cachet on the envelope depicts mountains & flowers of Hawaii. The cover is mounted on a 9" X 9-3/4" cardboard sheet that provides text describing the two stamps on the cover are lithographed, tagged & serpentine die cut 11.
