Item Description

SCV $2.80 (2014). Block of four 33-cent Distinguished Soldiers stamps in MNH, VF condition. No flaws noted. Gum is immaculate & shiny, the stamps are crisp and their colors are distinct & sharp. Selvage is attached to the two leftmost stamps in the block and along the bottom of the block. Plate number 'P2222' is  printed horizontally on the selvage to the left of the block next to the stamp located at the lower left-hand corner. The block of stamps consists of SC #3395 (Sgt Alvin C. York) at the upper left-hand corner, SC #3396 (2Lt Audie L. Murphy) at the upper right-hand corner, SC #3393 (MG John L. Hines) at the lower left-hand corner, and SC #3394 (Gen Omar N. Bradley) at the lower right-hand corner. Lithographed, tagged, water-activated gum, perf 11.
