Item Description

SCV $4.00 (2020). Block of twenty 8-cent stamps honoring Postal Service Workers in MNH, VF condition. No flaws noted with the stamps, although two holes (staple holes) are seen in the top selvage, but this does not affect the value or the condition of the stamps. Perforations are fully intact (i.e. no separations are noted), the gum is immaculate & shiny, gum breaker bars are in evidence, the stamps are crisp & their colors are bright. Selvage is attached along the top of the block of stamps and along its left & right sides. Five plate numbers (34079, 34078, 34077, 34076 & 34075) are printed horizontally on the top selvage. Also, the types of Postal Service Workers are printed horizontally on the top selvage. On the backs of each stamp, a short blurb is printed that describes the postal worker on the front of the stamp. Photogravure, water-activated gum, tagged, perf 10½ X11.
