Item Description

BOMARC missiles were used as target drones during the late 1960's and early 1970's and this is one of a series of covers issued to celebrate the successful shot down by either Air to Air or Ground to Air missiles in the Pacific. Cover is open flap, postmarked at Vandenberg AFB on 12/18/1972 and is un-addressed.
