Item Description

SCV $8.10 (2020) for the stamps. Booklet of four 1-cent Benjamin Franklin (SC #597) MNH coil stamps in F-VF condition & three 3-cent Thomas Jefferson (SC #842) MNH coil stamps in average condition. The leftmost stamp of the strip of three Ben Franklin stamps has a 2 x4mm tear from its left side, otherwise no flaws noted. Perforations are fully intact (i.e. no separations are noted) although each strip of coils has one fold along a set of vertical perforations so that they can fit within the booklet. The gum is immaculate & shiny, the stamps are crisp & their individual colors are bright. The stamps are enclosed within a cardboard booklet which makes them suitable for use in a Victory Outdoor Stamp Machine that was in common use during the 1940s through 1960s. The booklet is clean with no bent corners and is printed on front & back in blue ink (see photos). A photo of the Victory Outdoor Stamp Machine has been included in this listing, but the machine is not included in the sale of the booklet of stamps. The 1-cent Franklin coil stamps are a rotary press printing, water-activated gum, stamp design size=19¾ x22¼mm, perf 10 vertically. The 3-cent Jefferson coil stamps are a rotary press printing, water-activated gum, perf 10 vertically. If you have one of these stamp machines, then this is a great addition to your collectible.
