Item Description

SCV $1.50 (2020). Single 6-cent Eagle in Flight Air Mail Postal Card with First Day Cancellation (FDC). The card is crisp & clean and has sharp corners. The card was cancelled in "MAITLAND, FLA." and has a cancellation date/time stamp of "FEB 15 9-AM 1963". The stamp has a black ink cancellation mark stating "FIRST DAY OF ISSUE" between three horizontal, parallel precancel printed red lines. Artcraft cachet on envelope depicts an American Bald Eagle (SERIES 1963). Lithographed on an offset press.
