Item Description

SCV $1.75 (2020). Single 10-cent Cincinnati Music Hall FDC postal card. No flaws noted. The card is stiff and clean with no bent corners and a black ink cancellation mark. The first day cancellation mark indicates that the card was issued in "CINCINNATI, OH" (zip code "45234") on "MAY 12 1978". The words "FIRST DAY OF ISSUE" is printed in black ink on one line on the right side of the card between two sets of horizontal parallel lines. At left of the card, on the address side, is an ArtCraft cachet depicting the CINCINNATI MUSIC HALL and it indicates the hall's centennial anniversary. The reverse side of the card is completely blank. Lithographed, tagged (6 x29mm).
