Item Description

SCV $1.00 (2020). Single 15-cent New York City-America the Beautiful First Day Cancellation (FDC) postal card. No flaws noted. The card is clean with unbent corners and has a black ink cancellation mark that reads: "FIRST DAY OF ISSUE" on one line. The card was canceled in "NEW YORK, NY 10199." on "NOV 8, 1989". An Artmaster cachet is printed at the left side of the card on its address side that depicts the World Trade Center, the Empire State Building, the Chrysler Building, Spires of St. Patrick's Cathedral and the Brooklyn Bridge. The message side of the card has a printed narrative describing the five boroughs of New York City. Lithographed, rectangular tag to the right of the stamp.
