Condition: Excellent overall condition.
The United States Two Cent Red Brown of 1883-1887, Volume 1 & 2, by Edward L. Willard. Volume 1 is about the stamp and Volume 2 is about its cancellations. These volumes prove that collectors at modest expense can learn the true meaning of philately and its universal popularity. A tremendous amount of varieties exist, which may be great rarities and still available at a modest cost. 1970, hardcover, both volumes are 164 pages, well illustrated in black & white on coated paper providing clear images, hardcover with dust jackets that have minor faults, tight bindings, clean unmarked pages except for Volume 2 that has the former owner's name on the frontispiece, gently used and in excellent overall condition. Size: 7" X 10¼".
