Item Description

United States, Scott #5789, used(o), 2023 coil, Freedom Flag Series, (63 cents), offset lithography printed by the Banknote Corporation of America (BCA), serpentine die cut simulated vertical perforations: 10¾, non-water soluble adhesive, 'USPS' in vertical micro print in light gray, which is difficult to see, to the right of the lower red flag stripe, gray, blue and red, Scott Supplemental Catalog Value: 25¢, nicely centered, double strike cancels, both light, circular, red-inked, double-rimmed, socked-on-the-nose cancellations, one, half circular, half counter clockwise turned, on the right border of the stamp, the second, quarter circular on the lower left corner, with both leaving the main image largely clear, stamp was soaked from the mailing envelope using the Bestine solvent and placed on a piece of black trimmed card stock for an attractive album mounting, good perforations; centering, mounting, and image free cancels warrants a selling price premium. This is not a 'bait-and-switch;' the stamp you see will be the one you receive.

I will send the purchase by US first class mail, since the relatively low value of the stamp does not warrant signature or tracking mail. Hence the buyer assumes risk of loss or non-delivery. I will keep a scan of my mailing to verify that the correct mailing address was used.
