Item Description

United States, Scott #5701, used(o), 2022, Floral Geometry Parcel Stamp, $5.00, offset lithography printed and foil stamped by the Banknote Corporation of American (BCA), serpentine die cut simulated perforations: 10½, 'USPS' in micro-print at the left between the "D" and the "USA," the date 2022 in black ink, microprint at the lower left corner, non-water soluble self-adhesive gum, silver and violet, Scott 2025 Catalog Value: $2.50, nicely centered (superb), black-inked, nearly complete full classic circular, black-inked, single-rimmed, socked-on-the-nose cancel with complete mailing details centered up and left form middle and extending over most of the front of the stamp {EASTERN ME R&D, CENTER, JAN 24 2023}, good perforations, stamp was lifted from the mailing envelope using the Bestine solvent and placed, first on a piece of white paper for color contrast, and then, on a piece of black trimmed card stock for an attractive and uniform album appearance with other stamps from the period similarly mounted; centering, mounting and mailing details cancel warrants a selling price premium. This is not a 'bait-and-switch;' the stamp you see will be the one you receive.

If you are ordering from the United States, there is only a $US0.73 added postage expense. Also, if you make additional purchases from my offerings, they can all go in one mailing at no extra shipping expense for the added purchases. I will send the purchase by US first class mail, since the relatively low value of the stamp does not warrant signature or tracking mail. Hence the buyer assumes risk of loss or non-delivery. I will keep a scan of my mailing to verify that the correct mailing address was used.
