Item Description

United States, Scott #2914, used(o), 1995 coil, Flag over a Porch, a Victorian style house behind a waving American Flag; a complicated issue with the postal service transitioning from the old water soluble customer applied moisture adhesive and torn perforations to stamps with self-adhesive gum and simulated die cut perforations; so the 'Flag over a Porch' issue comes in both coil and booklet stamps; from two different printers; spanning three years; with customer torn perforations and simulated die cut self-adhesive perforations; with different dates for the different issue years, and these dates in different colors; this stamp is from a coil, perforated: 9.8 vertical, customer moistened adhesive, customer torn perforations at right and left sides, imperforated at top and bottom, pale gray shading in the white stripes of the flag, and a blue '1995' date at the lower left corner, 32¢, photogravure printed, multicolored, Scott 2019 catalog value: 25¢. nicely centered, large, quarter circular, red-inked, double-rimmed, socked-on-the-nose corner cancellation at the top left and into the main image, sound back, good perforations. This is not a 'bait-and-switch;' the stamp you see will be the one you receive.

I will send the purchase by US first class mail, since the relatively low value of the stamp does not warrant signature or tracking mail. Hence the buyer assumes risk of loss or non-delivery. I will keep a scan of my mailing to verify that the correct mailing address was used.
