United States, Scott #2394, used(o), 1988, Express Mail Stamp, stamp shows an American Eagle in Flight with a Moon in the Background, the female eagle that modeled for the stamp is nicknamed "Igor", moon in the background reminds viewer of the 'overnight' nature of express mail, $8.75, lithography printed, engraved by the ‘Bureau’ (United States Bureau of Engraving and Printing [BEP]), perforated: 11, multicolored, Scott 2025 Catalog Value: $8.00, nicely centered (superb), double strike cancelled, both very large and very faint, quarter circular, red-inked, double-rimmed, socked-on-the-nose corner cancellations, one at the top right, the second at the top left and both criss-crossing over the main image, however, the faintness of both cancels leaves the main image virtually clear, sound back, good perforations; centering and image clear cancel warrants a selling price premium. This is not a 'bait-and-switch;' the stamp you see will be the one you receive.

If you are ordering from the United States, there is only a $US0.73 added postage expense. Also, if you make additional purchases from my offerings, they can all go in one mailing at no extra shipping expense for the added purchases. I will send the purchase by US first class mail, since the relatively low value of the stamp does not warrant signature or tracking mail. Hence the buyer assumes risk of loss or non-delivery. I will keep a scan of my mailing to verify that the correct mailing address was used.
