UNITED STATES – REGULAR SECTION 1847-1990s – This is an extensive collection of some 2,000 different issues that spans nearly century and half long period from the very first regular issue in 1847 and then spilling into the 1990s with all the modern mint booklet panes presented inside a Liberty album! The collection features very nicely populated opening section, as just looking at the 19th century portion you will come across such premium standouts like used #1, 7, 9, 17, 25, 29, 33, 35, 36, 63, 68, 69, 70, 71, 72, 73, 76, 77, 78, 113, 113, 115, 116, 117, 118, 119, 120, 121, 134, 135, 138, 145-155, 156-166, 182-191, 212-218, as well as whole host of commemorative sets from the very late 1800s be it Columbians (up to $2!), Trans-Mississippi (complete to $2!), or Pan-American set! The collection only gets more comprehensive once it goes past the century mark and includes a very strong opening to the early 1900s including White Plains Sheet and numerous others! Then, towards an end of the book, modern portion quickly adds up to some $400 in straightforward postage alone! Altogether, well-rounded and very comprehensively populated collection that touches upon every key subsection of American philately from its dawn to modernity! Gen.
