United states – premium mint collection 1847-2000 in 4 kabe albums – this is a an absolutely wondrous all mint collection that starts at the dawn of philately in the middle of the 19th century and runs through a century and a half long period into early 2000s presented in an appropriately beautiful set of four hingeless ka-be albums! The collection was put together by a dedicated collector with stringent quality standards, even when it comes to stamps from the middle of the 19th century! The collection is packed with premium standouts, but perhaps the most impressive aspect is how this collection flows through impressively populated pages, especially once it gets in the 1870s: very impressive grills, columbians to $5, regular issues of 1895 to $5 (both sets unwatermarked and watermarked!!), regular issues of 1902-03 to $5 – most key sets run all the way to $5! It has been a long while since we had such a beautiful usps collection! Gen.
