Item Description

SCV $1.60 (2014). Block of four 3-cent George Washington commemorative stamps in UNUSED, VF condition. Light hinge marks are seen on the backs of the two topmost stamps in the block, otherwise no flaws noted on the stamps. Gum is immaculate & shiny (except in the area of the hinge marks), gum breaker bars are distinct, the stamps are crisp & their color is bright. Selvage is attached to the top of the block and to the right side of the block of stamps. Plate number '21547' is printed vertically on the selvage to the right alongside the upper right-hand stamp in the block. A small (1mm x2mm) brown spot is seen on the selvage above the plate number. Rotary press printing, water-activated gum, perf 11 x10-1/2.
