Item Description

Vertical block of eight (55-cent) Backyard Games stamps in MNH, VF condition. No flaws noted. The die cuts are fully intact (i.e. no separations or folds are noted), the stamps are crisp & their colors are bright. Selvage is attached along the bottom and the left side of the block of stamps. Plate number 'B1111' is printed horizontally on the bottom selvage below the stamp located at the lower right-hand corner. The backyard games that are depicted (in left-to-right, top-to-bottom order) include the following: frisbee (SC #5629), croquet (SC #5630), badminton (SC #5633), corn hole (SC #5634), bocce (SC #5628), horseshoes (SC #5627), tetherball (SC #5632) and baseball (SC #5631). Photogravure, self-adhesive gum, tagged, serpentine die cut 10-3/4.
