Item Description

SCV $25.00 (2020). Single 2-cent George Washington coil stamp in USED, average condition. No flaws noted. The stamp is firm, its color is bright & it has a black ink cancellation mark. There are two lines of shading in the curves of the ribbons. The toga button, rope & rope shading lines are heavy and the shading lines of the face at the lock of the hair end in a strong vertical curved line making this stamp a type III. Rotary press printing, no gum, stamp design = 19 x22½mm, perf 10 horizontally.
