Item Description

SCV $3.25 (2014). Strip of five 32-cent Alexander Calder commemorative stamps in MNH, VF condition. No flaws noted. Gum is immaculate & shiny, the stamps are crisp & their colors are bright. Selvage is attached to the left & right sides of the strip. The strip depicts the following pieces of art by Calder (from left to right): "Black Cascade, 13 Verticals" (SC #3198), "Untitled, 1965" (SC #3199), "Rearing Stallion" (SC #3200), "Portrait of a Young Man" (SC #3201) and "Un Effet du Japonais" (SC #3202). Photogravure, water-activated gum, tagged, perf 10.2.
