SCV $13.00 (2014). Sheet of fifteen 33-cent stamps commemorating the 1980s in MNH, VF condition. No flaws noted. The gum is immaculate & shiny, perforations are fully intact (i.e. no separations are noted), the stamps are crisp & their colors are bright. The stamps depict (in left-to-right, top-to-bottom order) the following high points that occurred during the 1980s: the Space Shuttle program (SC #3190a), the Broadway musical "Cats" (SC 3190b), San Francisco 49ers (SC #3190c), hostages in Iran come home (SC #3190d), figure skating (SC #3190e), Cable TV (SC #3190f), Vietnamese War Memorial (SC #3190g) compact discs (SC #3190h), Cabbage Patch dolls (SC 3190i), "The Cosby Show" television series (SC #3190j), the fall of the Berlin Wall (SC #3190k), video games (SC #3190l), "E.T. The Extraterrestrial" movie (SC #3190m), personal computers (SC #3190n) and Hip-hop culture (SC #3190o). A brief synopsis of each of the high points appears on the back of each of the stamps that depict the high point. Lithographed, water-activated gum, tagged, perf 11-1/2.
