Item Description

SCV $13.00 (2020). Pane of fifteen 33-cent stamps that highlight American achievements of the 1980s in MNH, VF condition. The pane is in post office fresh condition, so no flaws noted. Perforations are fully intact (i.e. no separations or folds are noted), the gum is immaculate & shiny, the stamps are crisp & their colors are bright. The pane of stamps depict (in left-to-right, top-to-bottom order) the following events from the 1980s: Space Shuttle program (SC #3190a), "Cats" Broadway show (SC #3190b), San Francisco 49ers (SC #3190c), hostages in Iran come home (SC #3190d), figure skating (SC #3190e), Cable TV (SC #3190f), Vietnam Veterans Memorial (SC #3190g), Compact discs (SC #3190h), Cabbage Patch Kids (SC #3190i), "The Cosby Show" television series (SC #3190j), Fall of the Berlin Wall (SC #3190k), video games (SC #3190l), "E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial" movie (SC #3190m), Personal computers (SC #3190n) and Hip-hop culture (SC #3190o). A brief description of each of the events are printed on the back of each of the stamps. Lithographed, self-adhesive gum, tagged, serpentine die cut 11.6 x11.3.
