Item Description

SCV $13.00 (2020). Pane of twenty 32-cent stamps commemorating famous Big Band Leaders in MNH, F-VF condition. The pane is still wrapped in its original postal packaging, so no flaws noted. Perforations are fully intact (i.e. no separations or folds are noted, the gum is immaculate & shiny, the stamps are crisp & their colors are bright. Selvage is attached around the entire complement of twenty stamps and plate number 'P111111' is printed horizontally next to each of the stamps located at the four corners of the pane of stamps. Along the top row of stamps (in left-to-right order), the following Big Band Leaders are depicted: Count Basie (SC #3096), Tommy & Jimmy Dorsey (SC #3097), Glenn Miller (SC #3098) and Benny Goodman (SC #3099). Lithographed, water-activated gum, tagged, perf 11.1 x11.
