Item Description

SCV $32.50 (2020). Pane of twenty 32-cent stamps commemorating prominent people & events of the U.S. Civil War in MNH, VF condition. The pane of stamps is in post office fresh condition, so no flaws noted. The gum is immaculate & shiny, perforations are fully intact (i.e. no separations or folds are noted), the stamps are crisp & their colors are bright. The stamps depict (in left-to-right, top-to-bottom order) the following Civil War people & event: Monitor & Virginia (SC #2975a), Robert E. Lee (SC #2975b), Clara Barton (SC #2975c), Ulysses S. Grant (SC #2975d), Battle of Shiloh (SC #2975e), Jefferson Davis (SC #2975f), David Farragut (SC #2975g), Frederick Douglass (SC #2975h), Raphael Semmes (SC #2975i), Abraham Lincoln  (SC #2975j), Harriet Tubman (SC #2975k), Stand Watie (SC #2975l), Joseph E. Johnston (SC #2975m), Winfield Hancock (SC #2975n), Mary Chesnut (SC #2975o), Battle of Chancellorsville (SC #2975p), William T.
