Item Description

SCV $2.75 (2020). Block of four 20-cent stamps commemorating American Inventors in MNH, F-VF condition. No flaws noted. The perforations are fully intact (i.e. no separations or folds are noted), the gum is immaculate & shiny, the stamps are crisp & their colors are bright. Selvage is attached along the bottom & right side of the block of stamps and plate number '10' is printed vertically on it next to the stamp located at the upper right-hand corner and plate number '5' is printed vertically next to the stamp located at the lower left-hand corner. The block of stamps depict (in left-to-right, top-to-bottom order) the following American Inventors: Charles Steinmetz (SC #2055), Edwin Armstrong (SC #2056), Nikola Tesla (SC #2057) and Philo T. Farnsworth (SC #2058). Lithographed & engraved, water-activated gum, tagged, perf 11.
