Item Description

SCV $4.25 (2020). Block of twenty 13-cent stamps depicting the painting "Nativity" by John Singleton Copley in MNH, F-VF condition. No flaws noted. The gum is immaculate & shiny, perforations are fully intact (i.e. no separations are noted), the stamps are crisp & their colors are bright. Selvage is attached along the bottom, top & right side of the block of stamps and the following six plate numbers are printed vertically on the selvage to the right side: #37498 through #37503. Text that reads "MAIN EARLY IN THE DAY" is also printed vertically on the selvage to the right and Mr. Zip is printed horizontally on the right selvage next to the stamp located at the upper right-hand corner. Photogravure, water-activated gum, tagged, perf 11.
