Item Description

The stamp in this listing is a one penny (1d) red definitive issued by Royal Mail (the British Post Office) in 1857. As is typical of all 19th century British stamps, it shows the portrait of Queen Victoria. This stamp has a 2009 CV of $11, but has some rounded perfs.
