Condition: Unique uprated entire from Boston to China, care of Adams Express Company (as per the return address on front), with Seattle reg backstamp & registration label affixed there (not Boston to support Adams express involvement?), and with Shanghai (faint handstamp) on the unique 'officially closed' seal/label and a Tsingtau receiver on the back as shown...I speculate that this was opened/rifled enroute from Seattle to China as the USPS would not have processed this further at the original point of access (or in Seattle), or would have officially sealed it with US seals...clearly further exhibit and research is in the future of this cover with many unique attributes as shown...a regular used U72 as a CV of over 2K for a typical cover, and any form of used cover rarely hits the open market...a nice student exhibit write up is included as shown...some typical wear for these long covers as based on the intent and era of this material...a nice postal history item that is ready for exhibit and your own enjoyment...5001A I have added a nice selection of many stamps to my store.
