POSTAL CARDS WITH ASIAN WRITING: TWO; first is 1c Jefferson; (Scott #UX14), cnl Brockton Mass (bit blurry), addressed by fancy rubber stamp to The Rice Merchant / 73 Harrison Ave. / Boston Mass, reverse in Chinese, crossed out and some other marking, closed spindle hole, next is an example of 2c International Card, (#UX25), cnl 1925 in San Francisco and mailed to E. Eimoto locally (HOTEL is written in), appears to be written in Japanese, stain on reverse, bit soft corners, not a proper usage of this card but it is possible the Japanese sender of this card bought these postals to have on-hand to communicate with relatives in Japan and used it by mistake, unusual, FinePlease see my other auctions!
