NIGERIA: TWO examples of usage on FOLDED DOCUMENTS OR ADVERTISEMENTS, both properly franked, first is a narrow folded (into quarters) Government Document labeled "Government of South Eastern State of Nigeria," two 1d Elephant definitives tied for postage, mailed 1972 from Eket, addr Lagos (TIDEX inc -an offshore construction firm), document states TIDEX did not pay taxes in SE Nigeria, appropriate handstamps, very showy open or closed, second "cover" mailed to TIDEX is a folded advertisement mailed after currency reform with 2k Petroleum Tanks issue (apparently #292), stamp affixed as closure on document, cnl by British style May 1974 postmark, addr TIDEX in Ikoyi, opens to roughly 8" x 12.5" illustrated sales pitch for cleaning service (you are only looking at part of it in the fourth scan), notice how "1970s American" the font is! Has TIDEX handstamp, stamp is undamaged, very showy and useful pair for a specialized Africa postal history collector. For those who know. VF  

Catalog is $3.60 and in italics in Scott for these infrequently encountered stamps. That's just for used singles.
