METER STAMP Covers with Cigarette related Slogans: THREE covers, all with slogans, including one on a REGULAR SIZE ENVELOPE Winston-Salem NC 1947 w Great I'd walk a Mile for a Camel slogan in Violet, mostly very clear and very scarce on a small cover, other two covers are legal size incl a cover (also Winston-Salem Jan 1956) with the famous "WINSTON tastes good - like a cigarette should!" This is very early for this popular slogan (it was introduced 1954), addr Brattleboro Retreat (a progressive mental hospital), sm edge flaw, finally an interesting air mail cover NYC Jun 12 1957 meter stamp in Blue, with Parliament cigarettes slogan and logo, used from the Philip Morris Overseas office and sent to the NAVAL SUPPLY OFFICER in San Pedro CA, flap torn, staple holes in slogan area, curious "500" in ms on face (number of cases ordered???), delightful group for the tobacco specialist, Fine-VF
