Here's a cachet that depicts a variety of suburban critters playing some of the Backyard Games that were depicted on the set of 10 singles issued at the 2021 Great American Stamp Show in Chicago!On the same day, the organizing committee for the big International Show BOSTON 2026, sponsored a pictorial cancel at GASS . . and the image of a horse and rider using Revolutionary War-era HORSESHOES fit perfectly with the Backyard Games Horseshow single!
This cachet is the one designed for the AFDCS as their official show cachet -- it's not the Bennett CACHETOONS version, which shows all 10 Backyard Games being played.
Foster Miller spotted the concordance between the horse's footwear and the tossing game on the stamp, and got this cover serviced! Very clever!
