Item Description

Tahltan Bear Dog, Kennel Club
For more than 500 years, the Tahltan Bear Dog served the Tahltan people on Northern British Columbia.
These small dogs were used for hunting both BLACK BEARS and GRIZZLY BEARS.
Black and white, they were 12 to 16 inches high and weighed 10 to 18 pounds.
They had large pricked years, and distinctive bushy tail resembling a shaving brush.
