The Claude C. Ries Chapter - a motley crew of Southern California FDC collectors - gathers every Spring for a bountiful Mexican feast at the home of club member Shirley Ulling. Tacos, Enchiladas, Beans and anything edibly Mexican are on the menu!That's Shirley, using her miner's light as she serves tacos under the light of the full moon (which is actually the Lunar Global Forever stamp of 2016) . Shirley's two little dogs peek out from behind her skirts.
These covers were cancelled near Shirley's home in Burbank, CA with a nice clear round dater impression from March 19, 2016 and were handed out free to all the party-goers who chowed down by the light of the silvery moon!
