Mint with light trace of previous hinge - Please see scans - We do not enhance or brighten the scans of the colour of the images of our stamps. Mint stamps are packed in black mounts. For the avoidance of doubt SG should be used as first choice for catalog reference. We try to give Scott references as best we can but issue date, colour naming, shade, variety / Die types and ordinary versus chalky papers, where applicable, are not always easily matched between SG and Scott for Straits Settlement stamps and often Scott does not list varieties that are in SG. Where we differentiate between Ordinary and Chalky paper we use the "pitted surface impression" of the stamp to determine chalky paper. If you think we have made an error please ask questions. We have a no argument refund policy. It might also be relevant to note that catalog stated values between SG and Scott can vary widely, often over 100% difference. We welcome advice of any obvious errors.

Updated April 28th 2024 We have made a business decision to absorb more of our shipping charges. We are still required to pay the Philippine Post surcharge and continue to completely absorb this. We are doing this to try to be a competitive with US postage charges. However, please note we ship worldwide and our shipping cost remains as one charge for the order - we do not charge an additional fee per stamp - 100 stamps in an order is 1 shipping fee and we absorb the higher postage rates. except for India where we have to charge an additional fee for additional stamps. Returns are accepted of original stamp(s) if the case needs it and we will refund postage and costs at standard international postage rate. International Orders of $50 or more are sent with no shipping charge, or in the case of India where there is an additional charge on number of listings. We are a member of the Internet Philatelic Dealers Association, the APS, the GBPS (Great Britain Philatelic Society) and a few other philatelic bodies. We abide by their codes of Conduct and offer collectors confidence when you buy from us. We pack all mint stamps in mounts and we do not enhance the colour images of our stamps for sale, and, we try to describe our stamps very correctly. Over the past year we introduced the scanning of both the front and the reverse of ALL stamps we list so you can buy with confidence. All new listings will always be scanned front and reverse.
