St Helena 1922 1s Grey & Brown, TORN FLAG error, Scott 87v, SG 106b, MLH/LMM, Cat £500($695)

Very fresh with excellent sharp color, well centered with only light evidence of hinging on otherwise full original gum.

Very nice and scarce 1922 1s Grey & Brown, TORN FLAG error in very fine mint condition.

Condition notes for mint stamps

UMM = Unmounted Mint - never previously hinged (nh) mint stamps with no gum disturbance

VLMM = Very Lightly Mounted Mint - No hinge remainder but has very slight gum disturbance which may have been caused by a hinge.

LMM = Lightly Mounted mint clear evidence of having been previously mounted but light with full original gum

MM = Mounted Mint - clear evidence of having been mounted with hinge remainder(s) on back

Unused = No gum
