Item Description

This postcard, depicting 'The Painted Rocks, North Yakima, Wash.' was mailed from Sparks, Nevada to Sacramento, California in 19_2 (?1912?) franked by a one-cent green George Washington issue. The stamp is tied to the card by a Time-Cummins (Hanmer #33, Dial - 4, Killer - 4, "unusual") machine cancellation.

Markings: 'Not in Directory Clerk No. 1' and a carrier's '5' in a circle, both in magenta.

Postcard specs: Due to the card having been slightly mis-cut, the publisher's info is only partially readable (see scan of verso).
