SOUTH AFRICA: 6d Bantam ("pair" and single) used w 2sh6p English (severe flts), (Scott #30a, 96 &96a), all tied by Capetown 19.X.43 postmark to small cover, addr Bisbee AZ USA, censored twice (US tape loose as often), South Africa censor tape tied, cover open two sides and reduced a hair at top, return address is Beach Road in Seapoint, has some condition issues but still very unusual, Fine.

I did an informal survey of 1943 and 1944 covers from South Africa to the US. Some had a US censor, some had a South African censor, and some had both Some had none. I wonder why? The covers with both censors seem scarce. Nice bantam cover.
