_the postal administration of the order, known as the _poste magistrali _and based in roma, italy_ _was instituted in 1966 and the first stamps were issued on november 15th, 1966. The stamps are official and can be found on mail to well over 50 countries which have postal conventions with the sovereign order and in which the order does charitable work. __but because the postal service is not recognized by the universal postal union, these stamps did not make it to the official catalogues.The stamps are issued for both postal and charitable reasons and are also classed as cinderellas._
