Signed. USPS First Day of Issue Ceremony Program for the dedication of Scott C117 (C1) 44c New Sweden U.S. Airmail stamp, FDOI, March 29, 1988, Wilmington, Delaware. The New Sweden airmail stamp was issued jointly with the postal authorities of Sweden and Finland and this program also bears the Swedish and Finnish versions of the stamp with their first day cancellations. "...honors the 350th anniversary of the settlement of New Sweden with this joint issue - its first with two countries. The common design for the three stamps was created by Sweden's Goran Osterlund." This program is autographed by Osterlund and by Thomas Hipschen, American artist and engraver. Program measures 9" x 6"
