Sierra Leone 1905 £1 Purple on red EVII Key Plate, Watermark Multi Crown CA, Scott 89, SG 98, MLH, Cat $300......SG Cat £300($381)

Fresh with excellent color, well centered, with a couple of light pencil signatures and light evidence of hinging on otherwise full original gum.

Very nice and scarce 1905 £1 Purple on red EVII Key Plate MCA issue in very fine mint condition.

Condition notes for mint stamps 

UMM = Unmounted Mint - never previously hinged (nh) mint stamps with no gum disturbance

VLMM = Very Lightly Mounted Mint - No hinge remainder but has very slight gum disturbance which may have been caused by a hinge.

LMM = Lightly Mounted mint clear evidence of having been previously mounted but light with full original gum

MM = Mounted Mint - clear evidence of having been mounted with hinge remainder(s) on back

Unused = No gum
