High catalog value on cover. Nice stamp with 4 clear margins. Postmark is dated OCT 21. Interior of letter is dated October 21, 1850. Addressed to Columbia, Pa._NOTE that the cert calls this a Scott Catalog # 1b, but lists the color as brown orange. At the time cert was issued a brown orange was listed in Scott Catalog as a "color variety of a 1b". Now Scott's has given this its own designation as a #1d. _
