Fresh, and scarce genuine used stamp with original PF cert dated 12/16/2010, cert #492470 which states: Scott #351 Used:"it is genuine, with a light horizontal crease in the margin at top, and perforations trimmed away at bottom during coil production at the B.E.P." The PF would not include the paste up tab w/plate # in the cert as it is not attached. I guarantee that this is the genuine tab as I inadvertently washed the tab off in preparation for this one to go to the PF. THe cancel at the bottom perfs correspond to the stamp. You will likely never find another stamp for your collection/exhibit like this one!!! BEWARE that most of the better flat plate coils offered on Hip and on other listings without certification are almost always fakes either made from imperforate stock or from trimming down the perforated variety, Scott#335. Further, many of the genuine pairs have certs that defer on an opinion of a contemporary cancel (it is lucrative to take an off center pair and place a cancel on it to raise it's value) or clearly state the cancel is not comtemporary; this pair is certified with a genuine cancel for the period!!! Buy with confidence-this one is certified!!! I have added a nice selection of many stamps to my store. I fondly remember going to stamp shows as a child, enjoying going through counter books where I could pick out the 'ideal' stamp for me.
