Item Description

With the postal rate change on January 1st, 1995 came a slew of new rate change stamps with the G designation. This example was for the postcard rate which changed from 19 cents to 20 cents. Two varieties were issued. Scott 2879 has a black G while Scott 2880 has a red G. This auction is for Scott 2879, the 20 cent Black G Postcard rate stamp. You will receive a mint never hinged single. The pictured stamps are representative of the stamps you will receive. If you would like a picture of the specific stamp you will receive, just ask and I'll happily send a picture.
