Here is a beautiful example of the 18 cent flag coil, "... from sea to shining", Scott 1891, in a mint never hinged plate strip of seven with plate number 1. Don't pass up this great opportunity to add this beauty from the first coil issue to feature plate numbers on a coil. Current Scott calalog lists this $110 for a plate strip of five. Early long strips are hard to come by since the collecting convention at the time was pairs and then strips of three. This strip does have a perf fold prior to the last stamp on the right. It also has a slight stain just to the left of the field of stars on the right most stamp (mentioned for accuracy). These minor problems don't detract from the overall great centering on this strip!
