Item Description
Here is a post office fresh example of the 15 cent Oliver Wendell Holmes coil, Scott 1305E, from the Prominent Americans definitive series. You will receive a mint never hinged line pair. This is the dull gum variety of type I. Type I and type II always gave me trouble differentiating, but now that I have seen enough examples, I have found the key to be the tie touching the coat. These are definitely type I. There are six examples shown to give you an idea of the centering being offered. ONLY ONE line pair is included with this auction, however.
