FDC produced for the 37c General John Lejeune stamp, one of the 37c Distinguished Marines stamps issued in Washington, DC, and Camp Pendleton, California, on November 10, 2005 (Sc. 3962). Multicolored cachet produced by an Unknown Cachetmaker, featuring a poster with a woman Marine and the caption Be A Marine / Free A Marine To Fight. Cancelled with an Unofficial Pictorial First Day Cancel from Distinguished Marines Station, Tucson, Arizona. Lt. Gen. Lejeune received the Distinguished Service Medal from both the Army and the Navy, the French Legion of Honor and the Croix de Guerre with Palm. Unaddressed.
