Item Description
FDC produced for the 22c Australia Bicentennial stamp issued in Washington, DC, on January 26, 1988 (Sc. 2370). DUAL cancelled with the stamp issued by Australia on the same date, featuring a design identical to that used on the U.S. stamp. The Australian cancel is from Sydney, Australia. Multicolored cachet produced by an Unknown Cachetmaker, featuring a kangaroo holding an Australian flag and an American eagle carrying a U.S. flag.
