FDC produced for the 22c Australia Bicentennial stamp issued in Washington, DC, on January 26, 1988 (Sc. 2370). Dual cancelled with the stamp issued by Australia on the same date, featuring a design identical to that used on the U.S. stamp. The Australian cancel is from Sydney, Australia. Blue, red & purple cachet produced by Artmaster, featuring a map of Australia with a kangaroo, a koala bear and an Aborigine on it, plus the Australian flag and Captain Arthur Phillip, the founder of the First Settlement.
