This auction is for a NEVER HINGED IMPERFORATE ERROR Plate Number AND "Precancel GAP" Strip of 15 of Scott # 2130b, the 10.1c Slate Blue Oil Wagon with RED overprint "Bulk Rate Carrier Route Sort" from the 2nd Transportation coil series. The Plate Numbered Stamp (#3) is located on the fourth stamp from the right end of the strip.How can there be a gap when there are no horizontal precancel lines? Even though there are no lines the concept is the same...Note the slight difference in position of the precancel from position 3 to position 4 on this strip. This is the precancel mat "seam".The strip has no flaws.The Scott catalogue of Errors, 18th edition (most recent) values an imperforate plate number strip of SIX at $200.00.This strip is mint never hinged and is fault-free.
